Saves your account, contacts and groups in one file, locked with a passphrase only you know. If this phone is lost or Chrome's data is cleared, restore it and your contacts reconnect without new invites.
Nobody can reset this passphrase, not even us. Without it the backup can't be opened. Keep the file somewhere private, like your Google Drive or a USB stick.
Pick your Quiet backup file (it ends in .quiet) and type its passphrase. Use one phone at a time: if your old phone still has Quiet, the two will steal each other's messages.

Each person gets an invitation and must tap Join. Groups have no links, so nobody can get in by forwarding. Members who aren't each other's contacts can talk in the group but can't message each other privately.
The reminder text stays on your phone. The server only knows the time, so it can alert you.
A one-way announcement space: only you post, followers can't reply or see each other. They get your posts once a day in their digest.
